England Day 4 – Church at Westminster, Abbey Road, Little Venice, and Sky Garden

On Sunday we went to services at Westminster Abbey. It was the sung Rite II and very similar to our Episcopalian service back home, but in such a beautiful setting. I will never forget being able to worship here!

Then we went to the Blue Boar for Sunday pub roast, wandered over to the Abbey Road crosswalk, and then strolled around Little Venice. We grabbed a light meal and then went to the Sky Garden. Although the views were great, I was disappointed overall. There was a lot more space dedicated to serving drinks than to showcasing plants. But I’m glad I got to see it.

On the way home, while crossing over London Bridge, there was a beautiful rainbow that stretched from one side of the Thames river to the other, with Tower Bridge centered below it. The picture doesn’t do it justice and I think it’s going to crop it because my Instagram account seems to have lost the setting for keeping the original aspect ratio. But it was really pretty in real life.
